Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Angular contact ball bearing is able to support radial and axial load, and  divided into several types, as below:

Single row angular contact ball bearing can only bear axial loads in one direction,and will cause additional axial forces when bearing radial loads, it is mainly used for undertaking combined load both from radial and axial and also for pure axial load, with high rotator speed.

Double-row angular contact ball bearings can withstand large radial and axial load and moment loads.

As the contact angle increased, angular contact ball bearing has a higher axial load capacity, but a lower speed capability, thus, the ACBB with a smaller contact angle is better suited for high speed and high radial load applications.

The applications of single row angular contact ball bearing: Machine tool spindle, high frequency motor, gas turbine, centrifugal separator, differential pinion shaft, booster pump etc..

The applications of double row angular contact ball bearing: Air compressors, various transmissions, fuel injection pumps, printing machinery, planetary reducers, extraction equipment, food packaging machinery, electric welding machines etc.
